orignially posted July 23rd 2013 Sadly after hyping up their signature' Game Changer' beer to no end they came back and told us that they actually ran out hours before we showed up at 730pm. They ran out of their own beer, really?!! Service was crazy slow, problems in the kitchen, not the server's fault but still felt bad for her. Manager was nice and gave us a ($1) discount but c'mon man; it's B-dubs! like 20 people in the whole restaurant that seats hundreds and it took over an hour for food. We spent all day tubing on the river and I even rode a glorious inflatable killer whale down the Big Piney River. I love BWWs but honesty that inflatable animal was actually cheaper and more fulfilling than this particular experience. Bottom line: We just wanted some beer and wings but were left with the bitter taste of disappointment.

This place is horrible. I've been a couple of times when I was out of options, and not once have I had a good experience. Orders have been messed up, wait times have exceeded an hour, service has been terrible; definitely the worst BWW of all time. Needs to get its act together or close for good.

A pretty standard issue BWW. All staff seemed very polite and accommodating. I've never been here during HH or dinner so I'm not sure if the current staff can keep up w a busy situation. Nothing super special so therefore, I have the 4.

Worst BWW I've ever been to! Service is slow and intermittent at best. Don't waste your time. Currently waiting for more than 20 minutes, clearly not equipped to handle lunch time volume efficiently. There are so many people crowding the entrance it's probably a fire hazard yet I see empty tables.

The service here wasn't bad...it's the food that is pretty terrible. It is weird because I've been to a few B-Dub's at different states and thought the food was pretty ok. I ordered the Jerk Chicken sandwich here one night and it was nasty. It was so salty that I immediately started to feel dehydrated. The manager that evening was going around the tables checking on everyone. When she came to my table, I told her flat out that my food was unbearably salty. I could tell she really cared and was concerned. She took my barely eaten sandwich and asked me if I wanted anything else to eat. I told her no and that I was just going to hydrate w/ my beer. She felt bad and decided to not charge me for my food. She was really nice and very professional. Wish I remembered her name...

Wow! First the waiter took our drink order from 10 feet away. Then I asked if they could put the Cardinals game on one of the TV's. It was the post season. So they put the game on the TV behind me! Next our food came and they forgot the mini corn dogs for my daughter. Then I take a bite of my first boneless wing and it was like the got it out of fridge. The fried pickles were the only thing good about that meal. Had to use baby to wipes to clean our hands because of lack of napkins. Who do you have to kill to get a straw in this place. Wish we would of went somewhere else. Never been to a BW3's this bad. Wow!

Best wings in town! Good food good price. Its only been open a few weeks so some times its a wait to get in. Over all if you love wings its the best place in town for them. We had a issue with or order once and they quickly fixed it.

While buffalo wild wings continues to have good food, their service is the worst in the Fort Leonard Wood area. We cannot have company gatherings there due to the service. Wait staff was so mixed up, 4 of 20 of us left without paying, ONLY because we asked and asked for our checks and they NEVER came, the service is that bad. Went there last night and 4 guys ordered 4 beers and wings. Didn't even have our order taken for 20 minutes after we sat down. Asking for water or napkins is like pulling teeth.

Foods great but it's always packed with students and parents.. It's good enough for middle of no where MO.

    (3)
  • Zeke O.

Food is good but staff is awful, went twice in the same week and food took forever to arrive even though it wasn't packed. Staff kept taking their time and had to practically walk up to ask for refills.

I generally love coming to BWW but this one is the exception. The service isnt bad, but the food is always cold n especially on Mondays the chicken is undercooked. Its also the only one ive ever visited that only gives military discounts on monday.... If you dont have to dont come here, drive to rolla where the food is hot n fresh.....

Had a wonderful time! The drinks were fabulous!!! The fried pickles are delicious! My wings were a bit spicy for my taste but they substituted another drink which I thought was fantastic!!

Eh. It's a BDubs. Went in on a Tuesday around 3p for a late lunch. Took a hot minute to be seated, even though the place was nearly empty. There just was no host/ess or waiter/waitresses around to seat us. Once I was finally seated, waiting for the husband, the service was great. We both got wings...my husband liked his regular wings, and my boneless wings were okay. They were super thickly breaded, and dense. Expensive for wings, but I suspect most go because they have TVs everywhere and it's a good place to watch a game.

I'd like to give 0 stars. We sat there for 15mins and nobody came to greet or serve us! Very disappointed. The group next to us sat down 10mins after us and was greeted within 3mins. Absolutely terrible. We won't be back.

  • Casey Y.

We were seated for nearly 15 minutes and no one said a word to us, to which we ended up walking out. We don't plan on ever coming back.

Shockingly disappointing, as with the rest of the folks I usually enjoy Buffalo wild wings all over the US. It seemed to me this place takes it manage of the fact it has a steady clientele of military folks from just up the street. I was pleasantly surprised with the first sitdown trip few weeks back, however I went back for another round and the following are my issues: 1) not sure how else to say it, The staff seems quite arrogant. 2) I walked in, received no real greeting, although it was in the evening. I went to the bar to order food "to go", but was promptly/sharply sent to The "to go order area". It seems that when a restaurant is not busy, the bar is not full, it is unnecessary to not only refuse to take an order at the bar, but arrogantly tell the customer they have to go to a different area to put a to go order in. why not just take my order at the bar, as that is where I will be having a drink while I wait for my food to be received. 3) Staff (bartenders, hostess, & to go order rep) were not welcoming and friendly. (Again) I have been to Buffalo wild Wings from South Carolina to Missouri; this one is the only one I have ever been to where the staff made it feel unwelcome and that I was doing them a favor. Sadly that attitude seems to be an all too common trend along the local restaurants here.

Worse BW I've been to, I don't even know where to start. We came on a Thursday night, they were not even busy & we waited 35 mins for our food, it took three different waitresses to get some napkins. One waitress responded when I asked for additional napkins "Ya, Ok!" Left and never came back. We asked for additional table setting & nothing!!!!Hello management please look into this, BW is one of my favorite restaurant, but I definitely not coming back & not recommending this very BW to anyone.

    (1)
  • Alyssa D.

Wings were good. They messed up on my wedges but I didn't bother to mention anything about it because I know the attitude they would give you right after you say the order is messed up. Staff was ehhhh......could have some better manners. This location is just BLAH. Plain BLAH. I guess the staff doesn't care cause they'll get tipped/paid either way but I sure as hell didn't tip them. Your service goes a long way buddy.

The place doesn't even deserve one star. Traveling late evening 9:30PM before hitting the hotel we stop in for a bite to eat. The place is deserted with at best a dozen customers inside and a handful of loud obnoxious drunks on the patio. Our server was on the job for all of three days and had no idea what she was doing, "manager" no doubt hung her out to dry. If it was me I would have quit on the spot. She was forced to card everybody at the table, I'm 58 years old balding gray hair. Use some freaking common sense Ms. Manager who by the way was rude to us when we questioned the asinine policy. The restroom was so filthy that I felt dirtier when I left even though I washed my hands in their. Thirty minutes to get food. Pathetic! Whoever owns this unit may want to stop in and take a look as it appears you haven't been in that place for a very long time.

I normally like BWW's. This has the be the worst BWW I have ever set foot in. Eating here and watching the staff completely fail at their attempt to run this establishment. It is as sad as watching your friend slow motion drive their dad's mustang into the garage wall because they can't figure out how to put the car in reverse. The service is slow. Doesn't matter if they are busy or not expect to wait. Expect the bar tenders to be rude, unprofessional and one in particular was being fairly offensive to the female clients at the bar. Last time I was there they ran out of ice. How does a restaurant not have ice? Yum warm soda. Also they seem to run out of beer they advertise a lot.

If the military goes away so will this place, just like all the other military depentant "restaruants" in this area. Long wait times for food and horrible service. Didn't see the server but maybe three times, you know, once for the order, once for napkins and the check delivery visit. Forget drink refills. Asked for a high chair after we were seated and it was against fire code to put one at our table. Yeah right, the waitress didn't want to change her route to the kitchen. This place has disgusting restrooms too. Lucky for this place they have the Fort that is milked daily by this place. Everything is served in a paper basket with high prices to go with them. Take the hot wing challenge and you get the opportunity to buy the shirt as well as pay for the challenge wings. But you "might" have your picture on one of the tv's that nobody looks at.

I'm giving BWW 5 stars for the gracious and conciliatory manner in which they handled the dissatisfaction my husband experienced with the wings he ordered. Long story but suffice it to say his wings came out incorrect twice. We enjoy coming here and service is always friendly - I realize they are dealing with new staff and that people are human so I hope our server Paige did not take the experience personally as she provided us with great service. I worked as a bartender for many years and I know exactly how these types of situations can ruin your night. When the manager approached me I explained the situation and I asked just for a voucher for a future visit so my husband could get wings the next time we visited. I truthfully didn't realize the cost of the basket ($15) or I would have simply asked for a small percentage off the total. Again, the manager and our server expressed genuine concern and regret for the inconvenience - the gift vouchers and "comp" were above and beyond what was expected but sincerely appreciated. Thank you for understanding and treating a delicate situation so wonderfully.

Food was good but you have to be very specific on how you want your meal. The service was horrible! A girl named Tori attended us and she was either not happy to be there or just needs to get trained in proper customer service skills. She took forever and maybe came to our table twice. She was flat out rude so avoid her. The manager however was awesome and tried to speed up our service.

    (2)
  • Brian H.

Eight of us went out to eat and seven of us ended up getting sick shortly after leaving. The service was absolutely horrible. This is the last time I will ever go to a Buffalo Wild Wings anywhere!

  • Jennifer P.

The food was good normal BWW quality but the service and drinks from the bar was bad. They used the same cup for a single that they do a double. The drinks are very weak. They gave us the wrong liquor. They argued at first but once they asked the bartender she told them what she used which was wrong. The waiter told us the bartender was not trained. She was a waitress that they put behind the bar...that was obvious. Food was good but slow. Because it is a military base they stay busy with new customers that are probably use to the BWW near their house being good but I can't see that they would get repeat business.

    (2)
  • Max T.

The worst service I have ever had. I was here when it opened and it was terrible and now I'm back 3-ish years later and it is just as bad. Do not go here with plans to get the same B-Dubs you know from other locations.

I'm from NY. Dropping my daughter off at the Fort. Thought the waitress, Sheila, was outstanding. Talkative, informative and attentive. Ordered our food that was fine. Worth the money I spent. Would come back for an afternoon lunch. Good job.

  • Jennifer H.

I've only eaten at BWW on 3 occasions. I'm usually a wingstop kinda gal. And the last BWW I ate wasn't good at all. The St. Roberts place was actually good. The waitress was super attentive and earned every bit of the 20% we left her. The only downside... I wasn't allowed to make a substitution on the Sampler.

    (4)
  • Alex C.

The only thing good about this place is they have a lot of tv's..they are slowwwww. .and the wings are not that good..I have been going to chicken bones for that..I went for lunch and got there early and it took over an hour for a chicken sandwich to come out..very sad..

    (1)
  • Gary R.

Waitresses very nice. Got in there quick. I had the sliders for lunch and fried pickles both were delicious. Also had strawberry limenade it was great.

  • Rachel K.

Loved it one of the best chain restaurants in st Robert for food quality and price. Service was good and the best meals I had all week.

    (4)
  • Travis T.

Terrible service doesnt even begin to describe this place. Food came out mostly hot, although not correct server only came to the table once to take my order...never seen him again. Had to ask the bartender for a refill on my beer...and that took another 5 minutes. Thing is THEY ARE VERY VERY VERY DEAD too...no excuses.

    (1)
  • Dan M.

Consistently bad service, but I keep coming back over and over again. Why? Well, it is still B-dubs. The food is still good, it's still a great place to hang out with friends. It's still the fun, sports atmosphere you expect. I hate to say it, but the fact that its a franchise makes it by default one if the nicest restaurants in the FLW area. With the exception of the service, it is very much like any other BWW. The problem is likely the quality of the local workforce that the store is drawing upon. Lets just say that for most of the employees working here the concept of customer service is showing up to work. And pleasing to the eyes? Ha! Some of these reviews make me laugh. I can only imagine what it's like where you come from! Maybe that's harsh, but when maybe I'll change my tune when it no longer takes 20 minutes to for the bored, overweight, waitress with tobacco stained teeth to wander over through an empty restaurant and take our order. Unfortunately this sort of thing seems to be the norm around here. Not cool B-Dubs. Not cool. You can do better.

    (2)
  • Li X.

Is there an option for zero stars?! What in the hell is wrong with this place and it's service? I tried to order togo from the front but the waitress told me she doesn't have the register key and I should order from the bar. Took them over 45mins to prepare a sandwich and 10 wings. It was 5pm and they weren't busy at all. Good luck.

    (1)
  • Esteban I.

Waitress was average, but the food was crappy.. Food was cold and fries were cold not coming again.

    (2)
  • Jason S.

Good food... But... Service is usually pretty terrible. I expect more from BWWs. In my opinion, prices are way too expensive for what you get... Especially for this area. I'm always surprised at how crowded it is... but then again, I'm there too. It is wild wings after all... in spite of it's shortcomings.

  • Richard R.

Came here three times and so far nothing even close to me giving this place anything more than two stars. As We waited more than an hour for a table. I counted 12, YES! 12 tables with no patrons waiting to be cleared. It took them over 30 minutes to clear these tables and prep them for new patrons. I mean. I could have been the one and only waiter with no bus staff and I could have have those tables cleared and ready for customers. Maybe its being "kinda" in the south and everyone is just slow and lazy, but jeez not one of these people would last a minute working up in the northeast. NOW. to the food. They only have a limited menu, so you'd think they be able to serve that quickly...NO. They only have a limited menu, so you would think they could make a decent burger...NO. I guess their wings are what they are known for, and even those are just so-so. The only saving grace they have is the Pay-Per-View sport events, that no one else in town will broadcast, so I might have to visit them a fourth time and suffer through mediocre service and food to watch the next UFC fight.

Buffalo Wild Wings is a fairly new addition to the restaurants in and around FLW. Although excited about this addition, it is not without its faults. Its pros and cons are: Pros: -Beer selection is fantastic -Wings are great -Patio is a nice -Fairly affordable Cons: -Place is constantly busy and it is difficult to get a table, let alone a seat at the bar sometimes -Due to its never ending stream of patrons, some staff members are apathetic when it comes to providing quality service (especially the bar tenders)

    (3)
  • Joshua H.

This place is awesome but they should really number the tables so the waiters don't have to go around looking all lost trying to find the right one asking customers is this the table that ordered this or that.

    (5)
  • Jenifer K.

I'm a chicken fanatic and this place had the driest chicken ever! would have sent food back except for the fact it took forever to get food and I had two very hungry kids. on the plus side workers are very friendly.

    (2)
  • Dan C.

I'm not a big chain restaurant fan, but chicken wings are my weakness, so It doesn't matter where it's from. I give Bdubs a four because the waitress are on point and really you can't go wrong with chicken wings, right? If you have never ate at Bdubs, I recommend the caribbean jerk, and asian zing or the thai curry, go with traditional.

    (3)
  • Heather C.

Terrible service!!!! Went here and there was less ppl there then the ones working and it still took us an hour to get our food!! Then got the wrong order asked for honey BBQ and was brought hot BBQ! They apparently only have one blender so if u want a drink first ask if its broken but it will take the waitress 15mins to come back and tell you it's broken! Liquor drinks r made really weak so u have to get a double. Ordered cheese sticks then when they brought them to us the waitress said we were out of red sauce so I brought u ranch. Who eats cheese sticks with ranch?!

  • Dione M.

I have been here several times with my husband. The service is always fast and good. The food is good for bar food. One time we requested to have our game turned onto the big screen and they did it! Overall I would recommend it, especially for a game!

    (4)
  • D G.

Out of all the Buffalo Wild Wings I have been to. This one is the worst. The servers here are worthless. By the time they bring your food it's cold they are rude. I thought maybe it was just the waitress I had , so I came again just to give them another chance. And still service was slow food cold and still rude. DO NOT COME HERE AND WASTE YOU $$ AND TIME !!

    (1)
  • Jax D.

We went there on a Thur at 4pm after the hype seemed to die done. Pros: -Waitress was young, yet nice and prompt with our food. -No wait time to seat. -Food was hot and fresh. -They also weren't stingy with their buffalo sauce. Cons: -Seems a lot smaller than the BWW I'm used to. -Seating is crammed in there by the bar area. You have to lean forward a bit for the waitress to pass and I'm pretty slim. -Way too loud in there and it wasn't even the weekend or dinner time. I had to shout in order to hold conversation with my DH. -To go boxes are pretty flimsy. They could use better ones.

    (4)
  • Amanda R.

I've been here twice. The service is TERRIBLE. Both times I've come, it has been the same: over half the restaurant is empty, the waitresses are scrambling to clear the tables, there's no hostess by the door, and it takes around 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me (takes still longer to be seated and another 5 - 10 minutes after that before a waitress comes around). It's always cold and extremely loud, even when it's not crowded. The only real redeeming factor is the food. Do not recommend it.

    (1)
  • Jason S.

Food is all right but the service is horrible. The wait staff is friendly but the managers and kitchen have no idea what is going on.

    Good beer specials, food 'eh

  • Alan V.

We travel all over the country weekly and this is the worst food we have had in a very long time. The wraps had no flavor and not much in them for $10.00 each, nachos are very poor, two mistakes on what we ordered, the drinks did not get served for a long time because the bar tender could not be found. Will not go to another one any place in the country. We spent over $100.00 on a lousy meal, feel we got ripped off! The only good thing was the beer...the big screen TV's even lousy...not clear, washed out!

    (1)
  • Justin B.

It's a chain restaurant, expectations are not high. However, at a chain restaurant you expect at least a certain standard, this is a new low. The service was spotty, the food was mediocre...that's being generous, and for the price I could have had a much better time. I won't go back, to a BWW ever again.

    (1)
  • Lui B.

No issues-- exact food you will be at any BWW. They clearly carefully pick their wait staff to be pleasing to the eye. Again its BWW-- and thats exactly what you will get here. And yeah, its loud-- some of these other reviews make you scratch your head.

    (3)
  • Andy H.

This is by far the worst Buffalo Wild Wings I have ever been to. Not once, not twice, but three times!!! Every time, the service was horrible; I have waited up to 45 minutes for food to come out and once it arrived, it was cold and they would bring it out with my appetizer... Not to mention, it wasn't even busy any of those nights. A friend of mine who ordered wings, was only brought 5 wings as oppose to the 6 that was ordered. Hardly any beer on tap was available 2 of the 3 times I went there. The only reason I went back the second time was because I was given a voucher for free wings. After waiting over 45mins the wings were cold, and so were the fries. The 3rd time I went was with a group of friends and everyone had a horrible experience because the server kept messing up our orders. The server would even laugh about the whole thing, as if he was stoned or on drugs. Every time I complained to the manager, all they did was offer free wings as compensation. I would never go back there again.
